"This song, like a host of our others, focuses around the struggle of being in my mid-20s and having no direction in life. I find it difficult to engage in relationships, doing something so emotionally distancing as music is, on the side. It's hard to leave enough of you open to relationships and life, when you're baring everything once or twice a week at shows. It's fucking tiring."
